A fast growing international accounting firm is seeking a Senior Qualified Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. This position is available for 4-6 months, with the potential for a permanent role in autumn/winter 2024. The firm welcomes applications from candidates interested in full-time, reduced hours, or part-time work.
This opportunity has arisen due to continued client growth. The well-established firm provides a comprehensive range of services, including general accounting, tax advice, and audit services for both UK and international clients. With approximately forty-five employees, the firm is led by a highly skilled and ambitious management team, utilizing modern systems with IRIS as the primary IT package.
Role Overview:
This position is ideal for an experienced ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant with a solid background in Practice. Reporting to the Directors, you will play a key role in managing a well-established client portfolio and enjoy a diverse range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare final accounts for a variety of SME companies.
Calculate Corporation Tax Returns.
Communicate directly with clients to discuss findings and offer relevant advice.
Manage and develop a small team, including planning and reviewing their work.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a Chartered Accountants firm is essential.
Familiarity with IRIS is beneficial but not required.
